I appreciate every life is valuable and sanct regardless of race, religion socioeconomic status etc.
I appreciate that when a woman or child is killed it arouses greater emotions than when its a man.
I appreciate the need for European nations esp england to show solidarity with France and even more so in the sporting arenas.
Lakini hii yao sasa imezidi.
Apparently EPL players are being encouraged to learn the french national anthem and sing along to it as it will be played at the start of this weekend’s matches. WHAAAAAT!!!:eek: Naimba national anthem ya nchi ingine kwa nini?
Flashback a few months ago to our Garissa incident.
We lost a similar number if not more, of innocent lives. The victims were just college kids thus should have caused a much bigger world outcry.
Did we hear our neighbors UG or TZ play our national anthem. Did we hear wayne rooney & kina Giroud practicing ‘eeh Mungu nguvu yetu’? I cant even remember if our very own KPL observed a moment of silence or played the national anthem.
I can only feel for victor wanyama if he & other african players whose countries have suffered similar atrocities and then they have to stand there reciting the FRENCH national anthem for crying out loud when all we got were travel advisories from these pretensious and biased-mourning european nations.
you cannot tell people what, when and how to mourn…its their grief…
all news is local…ever heard of afghanistanism? england is neighbour to france, long historical ties, in the same EU…so it’s natural they should show solidarity…
i also do not hear of people leaving central kenya to attend matanga of strangers in western…
