Security guards training

While accessing most business premises, you will find them manned by guards, due to current security concerns. I have noted with great concern in the way body searchs are conducted in a cavalier manner, I have accessed places, while carrying in my shoulder holster and the guards are none the wiser, most gauge the risk posed by mode of dressing and age, an archaic and risky mode of operation.
Routine and monotony leads to laxity, the security firms should be carrying random drills to test the alertness of their employees to maximize the benefits of having the guards.
To villagers using guards or have interactions with them on regular basis try changing the existing situation.

Njaa… They need to be well fed first…
Sasa leta mbisha ya ‘my shoulder holster’…

 hawa maAfande ni wangamwe sana na effidence…

So true, I have observed this thing pale KU on the gate, most students are harassed and their bags checked each time plus IDs. However for the staff working and other older people no searches at all they even enter without an ID. Vehicles entering are not checked at all.

mimi nilikua na IED nikaambiwa niache hapo nje, ati boss hii kifaa hatari sana hauruhusiwi huku ndani

I always challenge them as to what logic they use in allowing women with those large bags they carry to pass unscanned while they insist on scanning me yet am carrying nothing.
I once told one…hauwezi jua kama huyo mama amepita na bag ndiye amenibebea bomb’.
He was too dumb to understand.

I tested one the same way,he asked me kama ni ukweli huyo mama ndio amenibebea bomu.I said yes, hamjamwamngalia. They barred me from entering even after telling them I was just throwing spanner into their work.I had to go to another Naivas supermarket

Hii ya gari pia, I noticed that most don’t even check the occupants of the vehicles. They only concentrate on the two legged traffic only.

You see guys, we are raising a serious security concern here though albeit jokingly but it’s regrettable the police and other relevant authorities are just as clueless as the sojas.
If terrorists want to strike, that’s the weakest link in the chain, poorly trained and underpaid sojas.

those security guys huwezi reason na wao. if whatever ‘security challenge’ you have posed is outside their training manual I swear mtasumbuana hadi uchizi
