Seasoned journalist Ken Mijungu confirms his exit from KTN after four years with Standard Media Group

Veteran journalist Ken Mijungu has announced his exit from Standard Group after four years.

In a farewell post on X, he wrote, “A good dancer knows when to exit the stage! 4 years of absolute adrenaline… It’s time to find something else to do when I still can.”

Mijungu, who served as a News Editor, Anchor, and Talk Show Host, thanked his colleagues and God for the journey. While he hasn’t revealed his next move, his exit sparks speculation on where he’ll land next.

His tenure at KTN was marked by bold journalism, including his decision to ban MP Farah Maalim from his show after controversial remarks on Gen Z protests.

Mijungu previously worked at NTV, CGTN, and K24, and began his journalism career during the 2007/08 post-election violence.
