@scotch in a thread i created sometime back, you meantioned that there was a policy you were to take. Did you go ahead with it? There is something i forgot to mention…
Spit it out brasa
That when you take a policy with an insurance company,it is important to inform the beneficiary or the gaurdian,e.g your wife (if the beneficary is under 18years) that you took a policy and also the terms and conditions revolving around it just incase in future akijipata shez the one to make the claim for compesation, ajue what to expect.
@Afro thanks for your concern, I will start next year, what exactly should she know?
You take out a policy worth 50m and tell your wife??
Ataku murrder
Things like policy number, the surcamstances under which she can make the settlement claims, the estimated maturity value,i.e if its an education savings plan…
Not all bru, Wabukusu nope.
Hahaha… umenikumbusha someone i talked to earlier, alidai haezi weka wife kama guardian fearing anawezatoroka na doh policy iki-mature amwachie watoto. He’d rather list his brother
Infact,as long as one is alive, the wife has no access to the money even after the policy has matured as long as you are alive. Only if you happen to pass on is when she can make the claim if shez the one listed as the beneficiary or the gaurdian to the beneficiary
