Scarcity of legal tender

Whoever programs most kenyan ATM is a moron. Why is it legal tender denomination below kes 1000 is scarce. People running around looking for “change” while every next business person doesn’t want to give out any archives of 50, 100, 200, 500 legal tender.

Where does this scarcity originate?

Whoever programs most kenyan ATM is a moron. Why is it legal tender denomination below kes 1000 is scarce.

has nothing to do with programming, the code is superb.

however the logistics of filling up every ATM with the smaller denominations becomes a real challenge, each denomination has go to its own slot (ever seen what happens when the wrong denomination is placed in the wrong slot ), imagine the amount of space wastage and bulkiness needed to store 100bob notes worth 5ok? not to mention the probability of human error

You shd invest in those tuTorch or bulbs that detect fake notes.
Just google utapata,hata kama ni ‘origi kutoka shaina’. They cost around 3k.
Most biashara pple use it, its small n ur customers won’t notice you using it. Jz place it under the counter n pass notes by. Better safe than sorry.
