As long as our criminal-justice system allows these scammers to walk free (a court appearance, bail, case goes on for 49 years) these kind of shenanigans will continue.
Sad, because some of the people scammed are some of the poorest and desperate (‘Dr’ Murugu cons diabetics, hypertensives and cancer-sufferers. How low can one get?)
