True that, Europe state borders are mainly along tribal lines. I finished the documentary last night. Yugoslavia was among the few nations put together under a federal dictatorship. When Titto died the separate states started breaking apart. Milosevic started the greater Serb expansion. Took Kosovo, tried to force Slovenia, wanted Croatia Serb areas, 2/3 of Bosnia and Montenegro as part of dominant new Yugoslavia. Since he controlled the modern well equipped Yogoslav Army he could dictate to others. The worst to suffer were Muslims in Bosnia. They mistakenly let themselves to be the least majority behind the Bosnia, Serbs and Croatia. At one point their allies Croats attacked them from the south, Serbs from the North and Bosnians ignored them. Genocide captured on live TV.

Who said Europeans have no minority ethnic groups???Last I checked Russia has 150 ethnic groups within it.
North and Southern Germans do not speak the same language.
France is quite literally the melting pot of Europe.Despite all speaking the same language the French are of varied origins.Most Southern French are Latin i.e the look like Italians,Greeks ,Southern Spaniards etc. Eastern French are Alpine.Those of Alasce-Lorraine are French speaking Germans while those of Normandy are of Scandanavian origin.The region of Nice was Italian until the 17th Century.They switched to French
