this is why we rooted for trump, this war would not have happened
the worlds economy is now in shit, here in kenya we are suffering the consequences of a senile demented biden remote controlled by trans-homo loving democrazys.
Funny thing is that It’s a bad thing for Russia.
It’s an exporting country and a strong currency makes their exports expensive. Their central bank is stressed out and working on ways to devalue it somehow.
It’s great for their ego though.
The calm before a storm. Typically when a country is hit with sanctions, the immediate reaction is the country’s currency strengthening. Why? It’s currency becomes harder to access. But slowly things start to tighten. Some of these sanctions effects won’t start in at least a few years. It’s not like Venezuela collapsed 16 weeks after sanctions. Putin planned this war for over a decade and a half. In that time, he cleverly tied Europes’ infrastructure to Russian reserves.
The immediate sanctions were to slowly divorce the world from such. Slow enough that the average citizen is not impacted. Otherwise they would have embargoed oil and gas sales from Russia, if they wanted an immediate hit.

uwekee china, india, turkey, pakistan embargo na watanunua kutoka russia without a 2nd thought:D
India no, Turkey no. Those are American boot lickers. Waoga hao. Bilateral trade between Pakistan and Russia was only $800m in 2020. Compare that with +$50b China -Russia. So that’s whose left hanging lose. Already, they’ve declined to give Russia spare parts za ndege. Wanaogopa kuchapishwa ma fine vile Trump aliwakanyaga.
They have also declined to help around sanctions.

In reality they will help. But at hyper inflated prices. You know how China helps people who are down.
But feel free to keep theorizing your hypothesis.
