Samsung admits that your USB-C to aux adapter doesn't utilize the phone's DAC

According to Samsung, all Samsung phones without an audio jack bypass the internal DAC if a USB-C to aux adapter for your headphones is plugged in. That if you want high quality sound, go get an adapter with a built in DAC. Or just get a headphone amp.

Sony Xperia have had every reason to omit the audio jack port like other companies to market their headphones but they haven’t. Now Apple, Samsung and the rest want us to walk around with all these accessories because they chose to omit one port!

That means that the phone’s high res DAC is useless. Putting such a high res DAC for only the loudspeaker is just plain dumb.

I hate this trend ya kuomit headphone jack. Saa hii naona hata akina Tecno and Infinix are doing it. Saa hii you are forced to get a budget device if you want the headphone jack.
