Hello Guys,
Kindly assist with some advice. I intend to buy a Salvage Nissan Bluebird & repair it for my personal use. Is it worthy the hustle?
The buying price and extent of wreckage should be the main determinants in this case.
before you do that there are some few things to consider like, paperwork areas to repair, number plate, availability of parts you will replace, price of the salvage and most importantly a good mechanic.
If you value your life, dont purchase salvage… hio gari ita lock steering ukiwa highway doing 160kph…
The vehicle is a 2010 Model & from a quick look it seems the Engine is not badly damaged, the biggest damages are on the Body.
Thanks Bro. On the issue of a good Mech, if i decide to go ahead & buy this car, any leads on a good Nissan Cars expert
Even with good repairs?

Not worth it bro. Why do you want to play with your life? A salvage vehicle has too many problems. Why do you want to also throw away your hard earned money??
Just get a “new” one ama tafuta 2nd hand…Salvage is a big NO!
buy 2006 - 2008 models. Current market price ni about 450-550k. It’s better that salvage
also make sure you have time to personally look for parts, ukitumana utafutiwe , utatiwa bila lube buda . am currently working on a pajero io , its amazing how every thing is available drive iyo side ya bypass ruai you will get every thing huko .
Weka picha hapa tuone alafu we can advice appropriately. But overall, those salvage cars are not even worth the trouble… Once damage imefika chassis then just don’t bother, it never drives the same.
Thanks Bro, advice really appreciated.
What is the price of the salvage?
Did airbags deploy?
If its chassis has been compromised…it’s not the same car you’ll be driving in…it’s a death trap
No
The engine is cheaper and easier to repair than the body. I am yet to find a single shop that can jig a car back to spec in kenya
Isn’t such an issue sorted by replacing the ignition barrel. Steering lock isn’t all that high tech.
