Nairobi hukaa place poa ukiwa angani but once unakuja ground level ndio unajua uki chokoshville. Hawkers, thieves, vagabonds, lanyes name them. Halafu wasee wa jiji kuu kuna vile hawapendi kuoga. Were it not for the cheap colognes sijui kungekuwa kunanuka aje.
Kwa ground ni tofauti…Lanyes wananuka chieth kila mahali
Not to sound racist but knee garrs kind of smell funny juu hamuoshangi Mee Koon Du na hamutumiangi dental floss banae
Generally I pray for the day when such impressive pics of NBI would elicit discussion about OWNERSHIP of all those buildings…instead of sijui people are smelly and other negativity.
99% of all you see in the pics is NOT owned by local nyeuthiz

The city that spends hundreds of millions on traffic lights that don’t function; tens of millions, maybe billions on cctv cameras that hardly work and/or serve no purpose; garbage collection stopped working in the 80s, residents must dig into their pockets for private collection; sewer lines are overstretched, and regularly get blocked and spill over into the streets and walkways; cartels control and often sabotage the archaic water distribution systems, a very common and unsightly thing to note in nairobi estates, is dilapidated 10,000 liter “ROTO” water tanks, many of which pose a risk to the structural integrity of structures they are laid upon; even the small things we can’t get right, why pay anything to use public toilets? Hizo tax zote can’t at least cover that?
Have I even scratched the surface?
So when bonobos proudly post heavily enhanced pictures of grossly inflated, ugly, really unnecessary projects, for which they will probably pay for indefinitely, it raises a whole lot of questions, and perhaps one of the most important ones is anout the sanity of some of the city’s inhabitants
