Team Kenya left languishing in a RIO SLUM
Team Kenya captain Wesley Korir has alleged mistreatment of athletes in Rio after the organisers closed the Olympics village on Wednesday.
Mr Korir said they were stuck in Rio due to National Olympics Committee of Kenya incompetence.

Seriously, our champions are spending in some favelas coz of an incompetent NOCK!!! They started complaining about this days into the games and no one cared to correct the situation. Wario anafaa anyimwe salo remaining part ya tenure yake na alazimishwe afanye kazi.
Kenyatta should whip people.What was Ruto doing there if officials can’t respect him after left.Yet we Kenyans we are going to bash those( athletees) when they go to other countries.Something is not adding up.The situation is pitiful
Its NOCK responsibility for all these, from booking all hotels, travel and training camps. Kipchoge should just retire but NOCK managers prosecuted. Athletics Kenya dont handle them in the Olympics but at World Championships. AK are good at managing them and thats why there were no complains in Beijing when we were no.1 globally on the medals table. I want Wario gone lakini for something else not this. Here Ministry work was to ensure they athletics got there due of 1 million each, daily allowances and finally price awards for medals. They also took complains from athletics of any problems they encountered and followed up with NOCK. However the complains were just too many. Worst case scenario is we petition IOC to dismantle NOCK if they dont leave.
Ruto is simply doing what he does best, well second best, ie politics! he does not give damn where athletes eat or sleep. so the officials aren’t worried whether he is there or not !
