To be honest, we can’t be sure Lumumba would have been a visionary leader. I personally think he would have become a typical african tikitator.
Whenever public figures die before they reached the peak of their careers there is a tendency to turn them into giants. We always say so and so was or could have been a legend but death cut them short. The truth is we will never know what they would have been like or what they would have achieved. For example if Museveni died a revolutionary soldier we would probably see him as Africa’s Che Guevara and not what he is now.
