Ruto's big problem in Central Kenya is not his former Deputy

The problem Ruto is facing in Central Kenya is not with the former Deputy; it lies in the serious violation of the people’s right to choose.

In a fast-paced drama that lasted less than a month, the constitutional right to vote for the President and Deputy was rendered null and void and another was selected for the region with a vote of + 1.
What Ru…. did was to effectively overturn the constitutional rights of about 4 million people in Central Kenya, aided by 282 members of Parliament and 49 Senators. This is the issue he is facing in the Mulima.

Those who were not so fond of the former deputy appear to have softened towards him. Kenyans across the country have previously accused many members of Parliament and the Senate of the same kind of offenses brought against the deputy.

Ruto’s problem started with the drop of the ICC cases and Central joining forces with Kalejingas to thumb their noses to the world voting Uhuruto into government after Kibaki refused to relinquish power in 2007.

Ignoring this historical fact shows Kenyans are not ready to accept their historical reality. Raila should have been a one term President then and by now he would be a by-gone.

From the look of things, as long as Raila is alive, any president in office treats him like they owe him an apology and he has misused that status to the detriment of all Kenyans but for his massive personal gains.

Kenyans are immature politically. They think after they vote and not before as is expected. Check today’s news and see how they adore Uhuru who just two years ago they were insulting and ready to burn down with his family.

It’s Ruto who is making Uhuru look good, otherwise he was not a good president.

Kenyans are fond of their retired leaders. Remember how guys started singing praises about Moi after he retired? We have a short memory of the things leaders commit while in power. Ruto will be a hero after retirement but right now we want to skin him alive.

What’success"???

Kenyans were responding to the circumstances of their situation and the hope that was generated from the promises of better things to come, done by Men who were continuously on their knees in the churches and to top up, they came as a package with preaching wives.

People are naïve and gullible, lucking discernment.

Conditions have worsened for too many people that the retired president has become the golden boy; they have forgotten why they rebelled against him.
