First, let me shock you: there isn’t a single Kenyan who is a dollar billionaire at least according to Forbes. The only dollar billionaire in the entire East Africa region is a TZ named Mohammed Dewji, with a net worth of about $2 billion, according to Forbes.
So, the rate at which Ruto is plundering and stealing public resources both home and away and monopolising almost every sector of this country for his own personal benefit, can only lead to one conclusion: this guy wants to become the richest man in Kenya in dollar terms.
This is @Gaines 100%. In a different post, he lamented about there not being single billionaire in Kenya. Lakini sasa hii ni jina gani umeleta hapa? @Dennis_Morgan tunajua wewe ni @Gaines the 34 year old childless pauper who rents and is very much against building a house in the outskirts of Nairobi.
Sasa sisi elders tumekaa hapa sana tunajua the lingo of a few people. Ujue ukibadilisha user name bado lingo ya user ni ile ile. Sio mambo ati nakufuata. Ninasaidika aje? It’s just common sense. Even teachers get to learn the handwriting of a few students. It’s just pattern recognition. Don’t think too highly of yourself ufikiria I am following you from 15000 miles away ghasia hehe.
I think he simply wants to become one of the political dynasties in Kenya, like the Kenyattas and Mois. His stealing is with the aim of being able to finance this goal. Both of those existing dynasties were built off radical levels of stealing. Kibaki didn’t steal that much and his family is already irrelevant in politics
I think by now he has overtaken all of them. You see the dude is not only stealing the country’s fixed assets (land, forests, beaches, government parastatals etc) but also its liquid assets (taxes, loans, grants, e-Citizen fees, SHA, etc.) and all at an unprecedented scale. Add that na zile deal chafu anapiga na RSF, UAE emirs, Adani etc… the dude by now is the richest “dynasty” in Kenya.
