Rock bottom

Wadau sasa nimefika mahali inaitwa Rock bottom.
Since Covid struck it has been misfortune after misfortune financially. I don’t want to go into details but just know that it has been very hard.

I know this kijiji has some influential people. All I’m asking for is that if there is someone who can help me get a government or parastatal job, I will forever be grateful. Au ata kabiashara tuchape maze.

I’m not lazy, I have never been employed but to be very honest nimefika mwisho. Hustle zimekataa bana. I also know getting a job without knowing someone is very difficult.

Don’t limit yourself to government or parastatal job.nwei ongea na @ChifuMbitika

Weka CV hapa. Have you tried online jobs.

It’s not a must you know someone. Trust in God, nothing is too hard for him. The most satisfying jobs are the ones you have gotten without too much connections.

What’s your career, skills and education background?

kama ngani boss wangu

Thanks buda

Business related course, graduate. Skills hakuna kitu siwezi fanya bora ilete pesa. But I have never been formally employed.

Rock bottom is the best place to refine yourself. All the best as a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.

Thanks for the encouragement

Most employers will look for formal experience before they even ask for your papers. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get a chance.

uko rock bottom but bado unataka kuambia elders kazi unataka , how many kenyans work in govt and parastatals? punguza entitlement .

@tvercetti na @uwesmakende can pay good money for a bottom

Si entitlement lakini ukitaka kuiona hivo ni sawa tu.

Apana it is. We all know what you mean by parastatal and gava jobs. I don’t know if you have heard that the gava is not going to employ anytime soon…IMF manenos. That aside if you have really hit rock bottom, you will accept any job. Beggars don’t choose.

I don’t think he’s a beggar. Just a kenyan requesting for help. @D mon consider also private sectors, moreso those that don’t have big names. They tend to be very good employers with growth opportunities

Beggars can’t be choosers is a phrase to mean that you can’t ask for help and give demands. Does not mean he is out on the street with a bowl.

I know

Thanks a lot, At least you understand. I will check the private sector too.

Nowhere in my statement I gave out demands. I just requested if there is anyone who can help me get a government job. You understood wrong.

A man should strive and acquire one or two technical skills.

1.Know how to lay tiles.
2.Know how to lay bricks
3.Know how to paint.
4.Know how to fix steel.
5.Know how to weld.
6.Know how to mow lawns, trim hedges and basic landscaping.
7.Get a driving license (this is a priority)

Combine one or two of the above na hutalala njaa kikiumana because those trades are in demand Disclaimer ( you must perfect for you to earn well)
Then chanell your income to other income generating activities. TML.
