I bought fielder 2013 which came standard with 15inch rims and tire 175/65r15…i would like to try 16" rims and go for tyre size either 195/55r16 or 205/55r16 not sure if it will cause problems. Any disadvantages?kindly advice…Attached are standard size and possible upgrade.
Bora you match the size of the rim with the tyre profile to get the same wheel diameter as the manufacturer’s recommended, apo utakuwa sawa. For the width of the tyre make sure it wont affect the ‘wheel turning base’ when turning the steering wheel. One more thing just google for tyre/rim size calculators, utapata much needed info

By fitting bigger tyres, you will just be making the vehicle more unstable. Unless you really have a clearance issue with the vehicle
