The Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) has confirmed accepting a trademark application by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on April 30 on the name Riggy G.
The deputy president applied for the trademark on November 10, 2022, essentially stopping other individuals from using the name without his permission.
You will pay a fine of Sh200,000 or face 5 years in jail for using the name anywhere without his permission.
