I witnessed Jeff tryna establish The source of the guy’s wealth and was twice met with the I’m blessed line…the look on the guy’s face though was that of 'I don’t like your line of questioning ’ and it wasn’t lost on Jeff
That guy, with all those dollars, needs to get a personal trainer and chef apunguze uzani. Watched the Profiteers, Kenya is also rotten to the core as long as you have money.
but he did. He somewhat softened the blow and made them normal looking. The boy is just a spoilt boy but harmless. Kwanza sasa atatafutwo sana, you know Kenyans when they see money.
Jkl also hinted at who Uhuru supports. It was also indicated that the whole affair is just a political witch hunt by Kiir and his friends nothing more.
The boy was made out to be a funny young man. And yes Jesus blesses, so Namu wacha wivu.
And that is the problem with Kenyan journalists / ‘documentary filmmakers’ like Namu or Onsarigo.
They don’t interview all parties in a story. I haven’t watched profiteers but in other stories that Namu does he only interviews the affected so he only gets half the story and its very easy for the perpetrator to later react and respond.
He will do kanjo kingdom, but he doesn’t sweet talk the bad guys to tell him their story. How they started stealing … who else does it…
So he ends up with half a story. Maybe they were fired, but did that end the corruption? Who empowers these bad kanju? Who is their godfather?
And when Namu sides with the hawker, he doesn’t ask them why they can’t follow the law and request for vibandas… why are they on the streets with babies in tow… where do they source this substandard Chinese crap ergo harming Kenya’s economy… What solution(s) would they like??!
Onsarigo will attack pastor Ng’ang’a very powerfully or even Gakuyo. But he doesn’t bother to interview them personally. As a pro you have to pretend and treat them nice and get them on video so they can’t twist the narrative later.
For instance Ng’ang’a came on NTV a few days after Onsarigo’s documentary on the accident and he just said, ’ unajua mimi sijui nilimkosea wapi! Na mimi sijawai ongea na yeye. Sasa mmeniweka jina kila mahali hadi kwa magazeti, na mnajua gazeti zinafunga nini… na zinapanguza nini…’
He rubbished Onsarigo with a few sentences.
If Jeff Koinange did a documentary people would believe him more because no one would refuse to talk to him. Kiir will talk to him. Machar will talk to him. The general will talk to him.
With Namu he goes armed with the story already in mind. Even if the story is true, inachapwa mateke baadaye.
