Does anyone know the distribution channels these big brands(akina Pearl, Ranee, Basmatt) use, or anything I need to know before I take the big plunge?

I have dealt with pure pishori from Mwea for the longest and i can tell you - its a very profitable business.
My best advise dont package - imitators will counterfeit your brand and spoil for you if they see you doing well.
Establish a relationship with the cereals shop(s) especially in Kitengela and start supplying (wholesale-wachana na retail) them with unadulterated rice - build their trust.
I can supply you with the first batch free of charge (Mwea to Kitengela) and pay me after you have made your margins - the trick is dont be greedy by 'mixing".
