How can people in their right minds, build such massive structures on illegal land. How clever is that? Too much money can make people invisible to truth and become foolish.
Taj Mall sits on a 3.57-acre piece of land of which two acres is public land. Mr Gorasia (owner of Taj Mal) said he would ask the government to buy the mall since the investment was making loses.
On Friday, Mr Gorasia begged Mr Swazuri to declare that the mall would not be demolished, a request that the lands boss turned down.
The government compulsorily acquired the land in 1960 for the expansion of North Airport and Outer Ring Roads.
Wonder the same thing. In the late 90s there was open land everywhere. Trying to hold a conversation with my dad and he would say that’s ripririan land or govt reserved land or swamp land or something along that line. How the hell these people wouldn’t know that is beyond me. Sometimes with a river right in front of you. Every single person with these illegal allocations should loose it. Even if it takes 20 years to demolish.
So far president Kenyarra’s score card is headed towards the 90% Mark. Who will take over from this guy for continuity. My take is We need to change our constitution so that the Prince continues with this balls freezing deeds.
