When Somalis destroyed Mogadishu, whatever small tattered rags of the capital still remaining were transferred to Eastleigh; commerce, including part of the banking structures. That is where it is now trapped. A significant part of that capital happens to be owned by the mpigs/politicians of somalia and their affiliated tenderprenuers and carteleers, just the same way a significant part of Nairobi commerce and banking is mpigs/politicians of kenya and their affiliated carteleers. These two groups of thugs/thieves are quite stuck to each other right now.
