Religious demons

One thing about Jesus, is that He rarely had nice words for the religious groups. He reserved the harshest indictment on Jewish religious leaders, the Pharisees and Saducees calling them hypocrites and whitewashed tombs of the dead. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.” Yet at the same time Jesus said, “For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

When people imagine what the devil looks like, they probably think of this hideous monster with fangs, horns and a scaly tail. He isn’t. The devil doesn’t smoke or drink or take drugs, that’s elementary level sin. The devil is beautiful, clean and says nice things. The Bible says, “if it were possible, he would deceive the VERY ELECT.” Just think how close to the Truth they would have to be in order to almost deceive God’s children. A religious demon is the absolute worst spirit you can ever encounter.

What percentage of mistruths do you think it takes to soil God’s Word? Is it 80/20, 70/30, 60/40? No, just take out one word and the whole thing is defiled. One word!

Sadly most of these so called pastors, “prophets” and churches you see are full of religious demons leading people to hell. We are living in an age of deception like has never been since the beginning of time. You need the spirit of God to give you discernment or else you will fall in your spiritual walk.

Just two scenarios to support what you say about deception

  1. Do we get saved by good works or by our faith? Now this one is where all messages are distorted

  2. Gospel of prosperity

Amen my sister. I usually tell people that 80% of the church leaders and clergymen in the world today are agents of the Devil disguised as men of God. They are driven by material gain, fame and exploiting women and most use witchcraft and demonic powers in their work.

We are saved by grace through faith. However, our works are the quickening power for faith to become manifested in us.

Ephesians 2:8. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

James 2:14…faith without works is dead.

@Purple are you a trinitarian? What do you make of this? Jews and muslims stress the oneness of God

What’s the Trinitarian doctrine?

In Trinitarian doctrine, God exists as three persons or hypostases, but is one being, having a single divine nature. … “The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” are not names for different parts of God, but one name for God because three persons exist in God as one entity. They cannot be separate from one another.

Do you see the deception? Just one misplaced word defiles the whole Word of God. Three persons, instead of One, goes against scripture. This is yet another example of religious demons that are in the churches almost “deceiving the very elect.” There’s only one God acting in 3 dispensations. Not 3 Gods in one or 3 persons of God.

The “Father” is the authority of God that’s omnipresent all over the universe. Jesus, the Son, is the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, while the Holy Spirit is God who lives in us.
Isaiah 9:6. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Hmm. I think works is a result of faith like love. Works comes out to show you have faith. They must co-exist since good works without faith is self preserving whereas faith without works is dead as you said.

So onto a more deeper subject then: religion is a tricky subject:D  I could have faith…and do works but for my own personal interest e.g I as a Christian donate sanitizers with my name on the sanitizer bottles…Where does this stand?

I haven’t understood your position but it is important to keep in mind that the early catholic church had to absorb some roman pagan practice in order to gain a foothold. How can 1+1+1=1?

According to the Bible, Jesus is Mighty God and the Everlasting father. (Isaiah 9:6). There are no 3 persons but one person in 3 different “acts.” For example if I had 3 different accounts on ktalk, does that mean there are 3 separate persons behind them? The name of Father, Son and Holy Ghost is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:38.Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

As for Roman Catholicism, their doctrines are more pagan than anything resembling Christianity. That church and others have fooled so many people but when you see the beautiful cathedrals and angelic music being sang, does it ever occur to you that they are worshipping something other than God? The devil is so deceptive, if it were possible the “very elect” would miss eternal life.

I don’t think that’s true, Jews and Muslims and Christians (supposedly) worship the same God, the God of Abraham. But Jews and Muslims don’t worship Jesus.

Muslims and Jews/Christians do not worship the same God. But if that’s what you believe, well and good. All I can do is pray that your spiritual eyes might be opened.

Most Jewish Rabbis would tend to disagree with this statement

There is God, the super scientist, the creator. He exists and he created the universe. Jesus, Moses, Elijah and the entire Bible is just a scam. They are stories written, most ocurences actually occured, but I have never found a connection between God and Jesus. Jesus was a political scam artist who gained fame, he would be popular in todays politics. Everyone can walk in the Red Sea, you can trick people into making wine

There is only one God…and surprisingly it is the same God that Jews, Moslems and Christians worship. It is only our own selfishness that denies people from seeing the truth
Hence the Christian attacks the Jew, the Jew castigates the Christian, the Moslem says his is god and thus we are engaged in a wordy warfare that only brings strife and hatred instead of peace and love

John 8

48 The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” 49 Jesus answered, "I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me. 50 Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it, and he is the judge.

By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

The “gospel of prosperity” is a scam, arguably the biggest modern scam in Christianity.

It’s true that the early Catholic Church adopted some pagan practices … But it’s good to go on a case-by-case basis.

To add spanner to the works, I can argue that Sun-day was dedicated to sun worship - a pagan practice… but somehow the Church adopted it as the day of worship

May be you have many more examples to share

The criteria for determining whether someone is true is 1 John 4:1-5

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them
"

They that preach about material things only belong to this world.

Christians, Muslims and Judaists have one thing in common… They believe in Abraham as the father of faith. They also worship the God of Abraham. The last two don’t believe in Christ as the Messiah. Muslims believe that he was a prophet but not the son of God. Surprisingly, they believe that Jesus will came back again at the end of time. Judaists are still waiting for the Messiah.
