Religion is a profitable business and you don't pay taxes

CITAM church collected KES 1.57 billion in revenue in 1 year.

The bishop of CITAM is worth KES 170 million. I think he’s worth more than that but he’s keeping it on the low.

A class 8 drop out like Pastor Nganga owns assets more than 300 million courtesy of the church.

In addition to that, most churches have businesses like tour and travels, catering services, wedding services, real estate, sacco, sound system equipment hire e.t.c.

You will laugh all the way to the bank and KRA will keep off your business.

Anyone who questions you will be questioning the will of God. Who can dare to question the will of God?

There is something wrong with a country where majority of the richest people are politicians and pastors.

something is wrong with the rest of the population, not the two groups you have mentioned.

@sani unatetea nganga sana???he killed a Kenyan while drunk driving he is a known philanderer and he has no respect for his congregation…what is their to admire?

Neno evangelist Pastor James Ng’ang’a is selling his well-known property, the Newstead Hotel, formerly known as the Sunny Hill Hotel, on the Nakuru-Nairobi Road.
The televangelist is in dire need of funds to expand his ministry in America and is selling the hotel for Sh800 million, subject to negotiation.
The hotel opened in June 2016, with several influential leaders gracing the launch.

Not only kenya, Africa yote, if the documentary “gold mafia” is anything to go by, huyo uebert angel has a son mwenye amefungua church and runs all types of shows kama babake - surprised to see very well suited wazees as his congrengants, and the lad lives a life of Ferraris and Louis Vuitton, yaani the guy is living his heaven right here on earth promising bonobos the so called heaven - Anyway this life is for the fittest - let fools be fools just hatuwezi wote Kuwa wajanja

Bishop Oginde could be worth only kshs 170million, based on the assets under his name. The church is a separate entity worth billions but he does not include that under his worth, despite being a founder and major shareholder at CITAM.
Unlike corporates that pay dividends to the shareholders, the church congregants expect nothing in return after giving. It is upon the leadership to decide on expenditure without being questioned.

Ile church mimi huenda wali changa pesa… Waka jenga state of the art school…

Sasa school fee ni ksh. 120,000 per term…

Wengi walio changisha can’t afford that kinda fee…

CITAM nakuru na woodley wamenyorosha pesa yangu nyingi saidi banae. The only churches I sometime attend as part of my obligation coz that’s where my daughter prefers to go … when visiting with me at the ranch or when I have her visiting babymama by the condo. Church attendance is not an option in her book, which unfortunately makes it mandatory for me (influenced by of course by her granny … who’s technically raising her (for me) within the confines of "strict christian values " as a base for her foundation … something she horribly failed to do with my brother n I. Anyways ukienda hapo CITAM nax na uone kuna mbuzi zinakuwa auctioned jua tu, its most probably from rustlers herd. Niliona for good measure, heri napeane tithe ya wizi ndo zote tuwe calpable by the gates to heaven just incase it turns out … kuna judgement uko mbele. The upper middle class I suppose they are … buy them for rediculous prices. Kuna moja kwa bidding ilienda hadi 35k aisee.
Still my personal opinion is that: religion izza tha biggest scam to behold mankind…

All citam expenditures are audited and their audited financials are available on their website. The church congregants may not expect anything in return but that doesn’t mean church leadership is operating without oversight.

They don’t force anyone to attend their churches or to give tithes and offerings. Our thieving politicians and civil servants are the worst cancer that we should eliminate

Hehehe

Okoka uwache kuwa kafiri kijana

Unaona tu pesa.

Those guys work so hard to get where they are. If they can tell you their stories, you would never complain when you see them enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Find old school photos za Ng’ang’a and you’ll see.
