I feel like everything abt this series is meant to be a some weird twisted blasphemy. Case n point, the way that mathe takes flight ( JC on the cross ), the " immaculate " conception , extensive overtones against GOD etc

Yeah sure. I saw a scene in Preacher where Jesus had gone to treat a sick woman at her house in the dead of the night and they ended up having sex like wtf. Another scene shows Jesus having an abnormal kid due to him sleeping with one his family members!
