Raila in Muranga

He Came, arrived at Kenol shopping centre at around 12AM. An eager crowd was waiting wondering around in the shopping centre and they immediately assembled at Magomano petrol station because that was where the Raila entourage had stopped to address them on their way to Muranga.
No sooner had he greeted them and shouted Nasa! Nasa! than they broke into shouts of jubillee! jubillee! They even told him to go and Nasa his mother. yeah he heard it coz if i sunnymango was standing about 7 meters from him and taking into consideration my impared hearing, he heard it.
My apologies to Raila Odinga. its not we resident of Muranga who showed you such disrespect but this is what happened. Early in the morning a senior Muranga jubilee politician and onother one fro Kiambu came with jubilee T shirts and distributed them to a group of youths accompanied by Ksh.200 each. They were clearly instructed to never allow raila to speak and being deaperate the way they are the ran into pubs and only came out when their leader shoted “Kimekuja” i feel sorry for the residents who influenced by them into shouting Raila down.
My question is are these jubilee politician helping or ruining the country coz they are cultivating politics of non tolerance and tribal politics. couldnt we have listened to Raila and if you felt you cant why attend his rally.what if other tribes emulate us and never allow jubilee to hold rallies in their areas. where is iebc and ile kaparo. dont they have people on the ground.
i am a jubilee damu but i feel kenya is a democratic nation wher hooliganism should not be tolerated. Thanks talkers

My question is are these Jubilee leaders… Leaders are the same everywhere. We Kenyans are being taken for a ride. These political intolerance should be rebuked with the strongest words possible. Both camps are losing it with these kinds of antics. They will leaves us more divided than we were. Let’s preach peace brothers and sisters. @sunnymango Siasa za ex gf zimefika wapi, sisikiangi akiuza sera huku 021

BODYGUARDS OF some Nasa leaders shoot in the air to scare Jubilee supporters who pelted Raila convoy in Githurai, forcing him to leave.

these politicians are not helping uhuru in anyway. by the way they will be the precursor of him being shouted down in Nasa areas.

Mnajifanyanga wangwaaaaaaaaaaana ndio mpendwe na nani? Tit for tat is a fair game. If Jubilee cannot campaign in nasa zones then nasa should not campaign in Jubilee zones, pure and simple.

The one from kiambu was at weiteithie stage at 8am dishing out the T-shirts and cash. our leaders are heartless when it comes to power. we are used like stepping stones in pursuit of their greed.

yakimwagika hayazoleki. The politician who paid the vijanaas 200 achieved his agenda, whatever it might have been. The losers here are the youths who allowed themselves to be bought for 200 shillings. And the negative perception it sends across the nation. Raila and NASA didn’t lose anything anyway.

Once again we have allowed politicians to bring us to the brink of ethnic infighting.

I don’t condone hooliganism.

But who started it? Who booed and heckled a whole president, even destroying a presidential dais? I have told Nasa/Cord/Odm - msifikiri ni nyinyi tu mko na monopoly of violence and hooliganism. You ignited this in Kisumu and from now on ni mundu khu mundu, no prisoners taken.

I would prefer that the campaigns are carried out the way Raila was treated in Kiambu. But as @Slartibartfast has pointed out, isn’t rather rich for you to expect to be treated with decorum when you treat others so rudely? Hebu sasa mmwambie aende huko. Atakipata.

(Funny enough, I know Uhuru cannot be heckled in Western or Ukambani. Don’t ask)
