#Racism
Until we start treating each other with respect and dignity, no one will ever treat us us with respect and dignity.
How we treat each other, the discrimination, the tribalism, xenophobia , nepotism, the hatred, the anger…they see, they notice, they know we are not united. So they know they can do anything to us without repercussions. They exploit that weakness…
Good example, we’ve had refugees for decades, we take a desert land, and dump them there. We wait for them to come to Africa with tents, food, teachers, soldiers and provisions for our refugees. We dont give them even basic needs. We even deny them IDs so that they can never find jobs,or live a normal life.
When the same happens to their own, ie Ukrainians. They quickly accommodate them, not in tents, in walled houses. They give them jobs, they enrol their kids to real schools, they insure them medically, they are all contributing their salaries to keep their refugees comfortable. Instead of taking it as a lesson we again start complaining. Why they dont treat our refugees the same way. But how can they treat our refugees well when they know we treat them like animals back home?
How can we be taken seriously when right at home no one is taking anything seriously?
Whites will kill and steal to benefit their whole race and uplift each other. Blacks will steal and kill to benefit their family and deprive others to poverty.
If a black kills a black, its nothing. We defend the killer, justify the murder and move on like nothing happened. We show them, we have no value for our life.
If a black steals from blacks, ni “mjanja”, a role model.
If a black abandons his kid, its “normal”. Abuse the parent who remains with the kid.
If a black mistreats a black, its “normal”. Bora si mhindi ama muarabu .
If a black abuses a black, its normal.
We have normalised mediocrity, and that’s how the world sees us. Mediocre. Its between 50-60 years from independence in Africa, and 1000 years from now, we will still be crying victims. Because we are not learning, we are repeating same mistakes, generations after generations. Coz we are too angry to learn, too angry to change , too angry to acknowledge we enable a part of everything happening to us. Until that day we put the anger aside, calm down and set our priorities straight, we will continue being “victims” till forever.
