Sony was once a very innovative company churning out some wonderful products. Kuna enzi if you wanted to buy electronics like tvs, dvds, home theatres, radios jina ilikuwa tu Sony. Hapo katikati ya njia sijui nini ilitokea Sony nowadays doesnt command the respect it had a few years ago. Their smartphones are non existent, siku hizi LG, TCL and Hisense are really giving them a run for their money in the tv department, the only thing they got going is the Playstation console.
Sony still makes excellent televisions… Of course LG is still up there with them… TCL and Hisense are still miles behind Sony and LG… Now, what happened is innovation that disruped the market and Sony lost in other sectors and has been left holding on to th PS only… TV is excellent but has little market share…
Sony is behind LG and samsung in the tv department. In the home audio department (SOUND BARS) they are behind JBL, Sonos, samsung and LG.
