Printer error Hp Ink tank 315,Wadau Saidieni

Vipi wadau,
I have owned this printer, Hp inktank 315, for the last one year and it has served me well until today when it just began flashing an E4 error code message on screen meaning i cant be able to print.E4 error messages sometimes means paper is stuck inside the printer but nimefungua ndani hakuna kitu.I also tried cleaning the dust from the printer but shida bado ni ile ile.
Is there anyone who owns this model and has encountered this problem and how did you tackle it.Asande
p.s.nimetembea youtube kutafuta solution but huko ni wahindi tu wanaongea kujarati,i think this model is popular in India

Hizi three-in-1 models zikishafika hiyo point huwa ngori sana. Epson L220 yangu pia niliiunda na YouTube tutorials mara kadhaa but finally ikakataa, nikaitupa kwa store. Nilikuwa najua nitapelekea fundi ghaseer hii nairoberry afanye repair za juujuu, anilipishe 5k, alafu after two weeks iwache kazi tena. Nikaenda tu ku-buy ingine badala ya hizo stress. What I’m trying to say is, pole siezi kusaidia.

Yangu ndio nimefikisha tu 3000 pages printed nwey which printer model is durable that can last upwards of 3 years?

Ni ya biz ama home use? Coz hiyo L220 ililast at least 2 years na nilikuwa naitumia kwa cyber, so it was fairly busy. Halafu I was using izi ink za 150 instead of original Epson ink, sijui kama hiyo pia ili-contribute. Niki-calculate the amount imeniletea in those two years, I could afford to cut my losses and just buy a new one. Hizo huwa categorised kama base-level multifunction printers, so it’s not like they’re supposed to last that long, although one year is still short. For the same price range naeza ku-advise u-buy Epson L3111 ama Brother T310. I bought the Brother just to see whether it will last longer than the Epson. For years HP sold cartridge printers so I don’t think they’ve mastered CISS.

It’s for home use where I mostly do photocopies, printouts and the occasional photos Kwa glossy papers

Eish, hiyo basi imekunyorosha. With such light use hiyo kitu ingefaa iskume three years bila kusumbua. Kitu tu mi hujua, ukikaa for some time bila kuitumia, there’s a chance ink inaeza clog hiyo system. Lakini hizo Epson na Brother models ziko guaranteed kulast hizo miaka. Ama uongeze around 3k for each model and buy either the Epson L3150 or Brother T510W. Hizo ziko na slightly advanced features kama WiFi printing.

Since my printer still has its tanks full can i use the original hp ink on epson l3111 in case I buy it

Drum ya hizo 3 in 1 hutoka pesa ngapi?

I think you can, though the printer experts would advise against it. Mimi in each instance (Epson and brother printer) after kumaliza the “free” ink yenye huja na new printer, I immediately switched to clarity ink za 150 per bottle na machine inaendelea tu ku-work.

Siko sure, I guess ina-depend na model.

I think that’s the reason why most people opt for epson printers since they can easily accept those 3rd party inks,hp bana wako na cartridge protection, you can’t even use the original printheads on another machine even if it’s the same model

thats it. its done. Hp printers are built arount print heads and cartridges. only the original cartridge prints best stuff. once you start using other cartridges, the system quickly fails and the print head returns errors. the printer is usually cheaper than original replacement cartridges yet it comes with new original cartridges. Hp equipment is cheap by several orders but the cartridges are more expensive and not cross compatible

Mine Still has all the original hp ink and printheads that it came with

I just found out this cable is damaged

Unalea panya kwa nyumba, alafu utusumbua na mawaidha. Start with eradicating the rodents

Hiyo si panya,maybe an insect

A seller is asking for 18500 for the epson L3150,is that a fair price?

Very fair kama ni legit, juu naona text book centre wanauza 21,480

Update:printer is now working fine after replacing the damaged fibre cable

That’s great, saved you a nice chunk of change. Where did you get the replacement cable?
