In the bible, in Daniel 10 the angel of God tells Daniel when he prayed God heard him immediately, but the prince of Persia delayed the delivery of the answer to Daniel for 21 days and angel Michael had to help the angel of God defeat the prince of Persia to get to Daniel.
Daniel 10:12-13 (NIV):
“Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia."
Yes, their are powers,dominions, principalities ruling over this world and you. You, because Nebuchadnezzar was a king, but through him the prince of Persia accomplished whatever he wanted.
Ephesians 6:12 confirms the spiritual forces behind flesh and blood:
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
And Satan himself dared the son of God by tempting him with kingdoms or powers of this world:
Mathew 4:8-11 :
" Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. "
So their are forces working hard to curtail you from being at your best,which is a state you are in a relationship with God just like Daniel was. As you struggle, God hears you every time you cry out to him. That is best demonstrated through the children of Israel in bondage
Deuteronomy 26:7-8 :
“Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression. So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. ”
We all belong to God. He is our father, every time you cry, he hears you.
But as you cry out for help from God, the evil powers cry out and beg because of their fate and Jesus at the appointed time:
Mathew 8:39 :
" What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time? ”
So, the question is, the angel in Daniel 10 said he goes back to fight the prince of Persia, but when he goes the prince of Grecia will come, does that mean a continued spiritual battle,when does it end and all this princes get defeated?
Daniel 10:20 :
“So he said, ‘Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come’”
Yes, it’s a succession as described in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and Daniel’s 2 visions that leave him deeply troubled, exhausted that he lays ill for several days.
The finality and significance of the angels battle, Michael being mentioned is seen in the fact that only God knows the day and the hour. And when the appointed time comes, which demons fear as seen in previous scriptures, Jesus will come again with a host of angels and they won’t rush back to fight against princes this and that:
1 Thessalonians 4:16 :
“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first ”.
Mathew 25:31
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him , he will sit on his glorious throne”.
What is the way out? Like it was with God demanding repentance or else Jerusalem would fall, so it is today only that you are to repent or else judgement. The demons know that:
Acts 16:16-18
" These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved ".
And for those who dismiss everything,reject repenting , claim it’s about fables, while invoking idols, remember the devil is real,knows Jesus and no other God’s. In this battles, if you think it’s about ‘formulas or magic’ then he will physically kick your ass harder unless you are saved:
Acts 19:13-16
“Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. ”
In other teachings, people complain about tithes a lot. But it’s not just the preachers who should ‘eat’ the tithe but the needy too. Taking care of the needy is loving your neighbor as commanded. After that, it’s not good for the men of God to suffer or complain while we abound in plenty:
Detrounomy 26:12 :
"When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied. "
