If Uhuru’s Manifesto proposes massacre of every male child born in central kenya in order to reduce the population, Kikuyus will still vote for him.
if Raila’s Manifesto proposes that all Luos will lose half of their wealth to the government, luos will still vote for him.
The average voter is a bundle of ignorance and completely inebriated with tribalism.
Kenyan ‘democracy’= ignorance + tribalism + sheer idiocy.
Come next year, kikuyus will celebrate Uhuru’s victory not because his policies will have won BUT because Raila will have been ‘defeated’. A day before election, many Uhuru’s supporters will have problem documenting three policies contained in Jubilee’s manifesto. Kenyan politics has a nice dose of sadism in it: That you dont celebrate the victory of your candidate(and his policies if he has any) but the ‘defeat’ of your candidate’s opponent. You cannot be happy politically unless i am sad.
Who suffers in all this pettiness?..the common man because the armed thug cares not whether you are Jubilee or Cord.
The day Kenyans will realise that it is all about classism and tribalism is only a facade fronted by the elite to control the masses will be a great milestone in the evolutionary ladder of our motherland.
