Rai Pan Paper paid Kshs 800 million as the highest bidder for Pan Paper, they have also absorbed the Kshs 10 billion debt including the Kshs 2 billion President Kibaki provided in 2006 and will still need Kshs 8 Billion to modernise the plant and restaffing.

President Uhuru officially inaugurated Rai Pan Paper in Webuye, Bungoma County. The company will positively contribute to the economic growth of this region. The mill has now produced its first paper in 10 years fulfilling the pledge we made to residents and bringing hundreds of jobs back to Webuye.

how does the president launch a private entity using state machinery and tax payer’s money? unless he has some interest in the paper mill, very sad excuse, then the president should also launch all the new businesses that are being opened in the country

That Asian and uhuru family are twins in business. Kenyans are being taken for a ride. The president is busy with errands as poor Kenyans suffer due to doctors strike he can’t address. Very sad moments for our country.
