There are NO specific instructions in Scripture for the Church on how to survive the Tribulation. If the Church were meant to endure the Tribulation, the New Testament would include clear teachings on how to do so!
If this were true, Paul would have taught us something that includes:-
1. Practical ways to find food and shelter during widespread famine and social collapse.
2. God’s special protection or provision for believers during famine, disease, or war. (Second, third and fourth seal, Rev 6)
3. Practical ways to avoid persecution, capture, or execution. (Chapters 6, 13, and 17).
4.Instructions on how to avoid or deal with the pestilences and plagues. (Fourth seal, Rev 6:7-8).
5. Guidance on how to escape the great earthquakes, celestial disturbances, and cosmic signs that occur during the sixth seal. (Rev 6:12-17).
6. Special instructions on preparing oneself spiritually for being martyred, as well as encouragement to face beheading without fear.
7. How to face execution or imprisonment under the Antichrist’s regime.
8. How to share the gospel in a world controlled by the Antichrist, under the threat of death.
9. Guidance on how to spread the gospel during a time of economic collapse and social crisis.
Instead, the emphasis throughout the New Testament is on being ready for Christ’s imminent APPEARANCE (Rapture), with no mention of preparing for or enduring the catastrophic events of the Tribulation!
Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13!
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” 1 Thes 4:15-17!
Being martyred and killed is not the Blessed Hope that Paul was talking about. The Blessed Hope is being saved from the Tribulation through the rapture!
There is no Bible verse that speaks of God’s protection during the Tribulation for the Gentiles—only for the Jews! “Then the woman (Israel) fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days." Revelation 12:6.
“Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God." Rev 20:4.
Millions from all nations, tribes and tongues will be martyred, beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God— that is written!“…behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands…These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” Rev 7: 9-14!
The absence of survival strategies and the focus on martyrdom strongly suggest that believers will not experience deliverance or protection during this time but will instead face persecution and death. This refers to those who come to Jesus after the Rapture, not the Church. The Church won’t be present during the Tribulation. That’s why there is no mention of the Church whatsoever after Revelation Chapter 4 until Chapter 19 when we return with Christ. Instead of the Church, God will use the 2 witnesses, the 144,000 Jews, and the 3 angels to spread the gospel and carry out His work.
MID-TRIBBERS AND POST-TRIBBERS: The Tribulation is the appointed time by God to fulfill His covenant promises to Israel, not the Church (Daniel 9:24-27). The focus is on preparing Israel for Christ’s return and for them to accept Jesus as their Messiah. As a result, millions of Gentiles will be saved as well.
BUT the sealing of the 144,000 Jews in Revelation 7 gives us a hint and provides key evidence of God’s unique plan for Israel, which takes center stage during this time. This is why the Antichrist allows the rebuilding of the temple, only to later desecrate it, his goal is to destroy God’s plan for them.
The Church will be gone before the Tribulation begins! We are free and clear from any judgment because we’re covered by Jesus’ blood that saves us. God sees Jesus in every one of us— just as the blood of the lamb protected the Israelites from the angel of death, the blood of Jesus covers and protects believers from God’s judgment.
Make sure your faith is FULLY PLACED 100% in the blood of Jesus and His perfect work on the cross, not in your ability or faith to survive the Tribulation. Your chances are slim to none, according to what Jesus revealed to John in the book of Revelation.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)
