If u have ever crossed the divide and snorted some or injected yourself …you know how it feels to get fixed.
You also know how bad it is not to get sorted.
Its the predicament in all countries save for a very few, including Portugal.
In Portugal, all types of drugs are decriminalized.
As long as you carrying anything less than a 10-day supply, no one will touch you.
If above, you will be brought before a 3 man panel; a lawyer, a doctor and a psychologist. These may prescribe prison, treatment or nothing.
The decriminalization has worked in reducing drug abuse in Portugal where it once stood at 0.7% of the population.

Here, we still wait on the government to get its priorities right. Our problem has never been interest rates, but legalizing weed.

But weed is not injected. Stuff that’s injected is lethal and should stay criminalized if used in unintended way.
