Law enforcement officers in Meru have arrested Lucy Mwenda, a police impostor who had been harassing members of the public in Imenti North Sub-County. Acting on credible tip-offs from residents, officers moved swiftly and apprehended him with a numberless motorcycle believed to be used for escape. A search recovered a military jacket, knee pad, hat, camel bag and a dagger, and Mwenda is now in custody as he awaits arraignment.
