Does anyone have any experience na poa internet. Nmecheki kwa site yao rates ni only Sh 1500 a month for:
[ul]
[li]Unlimited data usage – no Data Caps[/li][li]Speeds of up to 4Mbps[/li][/ul]
4mbps naona ni slow sana. Kuna mtu ameitumia anichanue?

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Poa Internet to raise awareness and help others make informed decisions regarding their choice of internet service provider.
In the last year, I encountered numerous downtimes with Poa Internet, and my attempts to address these issues with their customer service have been met with frustration(the script was the same:: restart, disconnect all device test speed with one device, and worse!). The situation took a turn for the worse when their WiFi mast was allegedly stolen, and I was asked to provide a police abstract – a request I found to be highly unusual and opted not to comply.
Shockingly, I’ve heard stories suggesting that some of Poa Internet’s own employees may be involved in these thefts, casting serious doubts on the security of their operations.
When I decided to discontinue their service, I faced additional challenges. Not only did they refuse to refund the installation fees, but the return of their equipment was marred by unprofessionalism. The individuals sent to collect the items did so on a Sunday, contradicting the information provided by the company, which specified weekdays for equipment returns.
Worse still, during this process, my contact details were mishandled. I received calls from unknown individuals who, under the guise of assisting me with a refund, guided me through the opt-out process for the Hakikisha service. This was not only distressing but also raised serious concerns about the privacy and security of customer information.
I’m sharing this experience not to attack Poa Internet but to caution others who may be considering their services. I believe in transparency and want everyone to be aware of the potential challenges they might face, including service interruptions, questionable security practices, unprofessional conduct during equipment returns, and potential mishandling of customer information.
Stay connected, but choose your provider wisely.

That sucks. I just got my installation today but I hadn’t seen all the negative reviews and downtime complaints on their Facebook page before paying. It’s working fine so far on my end but with everything I’ve seen about them today, it sounds like I’ll inevitably run into my fair share of issues with their net. Hopefully, they’ve somewhat improved from the last time you used it.
What are their current rates?
3500 for the installation and 1500 for the monthly charge
I fear for you, the receiver can be stolen anytime. You should switch to fibre internet services ziko mingi mtaani kama mimi natumia 10mbps ya Company inaitwa superlite network at 2k pm. Switch.
The LiteBeam being stolen isn’t an issue but I may look into other ISPs later. I just hope that in the meantime it keeps working as well as it has.
10mbps for 2k sounds like a steal. What’s the tradeoff though, or is it also reliable throughout
