This stupid argument doesn’t hold water. Swahili is not our native language, majority of us had to learn it as a second language. It also has a large number of loan words from Arab slave traders. So as you bash English for being the colonizer’s language, make sure to banish Arab influence from the swahili that you’re so proud of. Both were horrible but to me the colonizer was the lesser evil compared to the slave trader, ghaseer nyinyi.

Kikuyus have Egyptian links. Some words were apparently borrowed from ancient Egypt. E.g Maithori, misery, misri/ Mizraim.

Kyuks are actually Jews. If you read the old testament and compare with the pre-colonial Kikuyu customs and traditions, you will see a lot of similarities eg monotheism, animal sacrifice, crop farming etc
