Phone tracking

vipi wadau,
Mbirrionaire here was robbed his phone the past week.Anybody who can help me track it?Am desperate to have it back wadau.

Not worthy it… Unless the Phone was very expensive i.e >80K and it was unlocked at the time of theft…

When a Phone is locked, thieves cannot easily get in and most likely just scrape it for parts, hence making tracking it impossible…

As you have been told, it’s not worth it. Just move on with life.

Always insure your expensive gadgets to reduce the trauma when you are dispossessed.

Iza but swallow some water and move on, it’s not worth the hussle of tracking it. As said above labda watatry kuuzia mtu downtown wakishindwa watauza for parts

Seriously, why would the police in India use their resources to track a phone lost in another country by some nyeuthi

For those with midrange and above Sammy phones, go to bixby>routines and programme it to enable data and location when a certain condition is met. Example, mine will enable data and location if I text it a specific word, and i can then track it through find my phone. This works even if the phone is locked. The bixby routines have other very cool automations.

In March this year, I lost my S9+ hapo TMall… Phone went offline never to be seen since. Data and location were all on at the time of losing the phone, but nonetheless i couldn’t track it on find my Phone on my Galaxy Watch or PC App. It is like it went off the face of the earth. I think the guys tried unlocking it and when they couldn’t get through used it for spare parts…

Based on previous experience with these so called Trackers decided it was not worth it to try and track it down …

They should make phones with onboard soldered batteries and make them require a passcode to turn it off. That will give you at least a day to recover it before it gets to a “fundi”

Ama uende tu kwa Find My Mobile

If you have ever used Tasker app on a rooted phone you agree it automateals almost any action on an android phone. Bixby routines have similar automations from the simple to the complex. Example, you can have it switch data on when you open any specified apps and switch off after closing. Same WiFi, location etc, on for specified apps. You can specify if your big assed kunguru calls, the phone goes on silent mode at only specified times (like when wife is home, kama uko naye) . The list is expansive.

Unatext nani na kutoa simcard ndio huwa kitu ya kwanza huwa tunafanya mki"misplace" simu

Yeah, this. Using Tasker to do some cool automation i.e.

[li]When there is more than two unsuccessful unlock tries, it takes a Photo using the Front Camera.[/li][li]Sends me an SMS message to another number with location coordinates.[/li][li]Uploads the Coordinate Text File and Image to my Google Drive. [/li][li]All these while the Phone is locked and with no noticeable alarm.[/li][/ol]

I once rooted a Sammy phone, added tasker with various automation and bought the cerberus anti theft. The Cerberus anti theft was at another level, once you get it to run as a system app, you could command the phone to do anything including waking it up remotely through the Web. If stolen, take video, photos, record voice of the thief and send you the media. If the thief inserts a new sim card, the new number and location is sent to you. You could also send a lockscreen message to the thief which he is unable to remove since he can’t unlock the phone. Any attempt to flash the device would be blocked as the phone would not recognise any USB connection without the password. Google was uncomfortable with the cerberus running at deep system level and removed it from playstore. But you can still it download from their website
