Super petrol will retail for Sh5.43 more starting midnight, while those of diesel and kerosene have increased by Sh2.24 and Sh2.40 respectively.

Watu wa transport ndio hufeel. Hiyo 2 Bob kwa diesel amounts to alot. Two years ago fuel cost per trip was averaging 8k for a 10 wheeler. Saa hii its around 10k. Kesho asubuhi itakuwa 10.5k. Passing the cost to the customer haiwangi easy because most Customers(wazito stingy) are used to historical prices and the competition to sell in volumes is high… Mwenye gari huwa caught like a deer in the headlights when such situations arise and they end up paying dearly (in terms of lost income) when ‘emergencies’ arise
