Peter Njonjo and the 20,000 acres of land

The Business Daily has uncovered that Peter Njonjo, the CEO of Twiga Foods, has moved ownership of 20,000 acres in the Galana-Kulalu scheme.

These acres were originally allocated to him by President William Ruto’s administration. Contrary to previous statements by the Twiga boss, official records from the company registry reveal that Mr. Njonjo exclusively owns Selu Limited.

This company was entrusted with the responsibility of developing the irrigation scheme, in contrast to earlier claims that Latin American and US firms were involved. Source:

I thought the 2010 katiba says the president has no power to allocate land.
