[li]One of the 2013 Presidential candidates Peter Kennethhas broken his silence regarding his political stand months before the 2017 General Election.[/li]
Tasked to divulge on the position he would vie for, Kenneth told Kenyans.co.ke that he was yet to decide his next political move but would make a public announcement before the year ended.
“I haven’t decided yet. I will make that determination before the end of the year for either the Presidential or Gubernatorial position,” he stated.
On which party or coalition the Kenya National Congress (KNC) party leader would be joining, Kenneth stated “I will decide on which party to use when that time comes.”
Mr Kenneth added that the decision on the political faction he could join would be premised on whether he shall be contesting for Governorship or Presidency.
Earlier on, the politician had indicated that he was ready to immerse his head into politics since he had gained more experience.
Kenneth added that he had received reports of his supporters urging him to vie either for the Murang’a or Nairobi gubernatorial seat, while others urged him to try a second shot at the Presidential seat.
“I have seen Murang’a people saying I should run as their governor with others are saying I should try another stab at the Presidency. I have also had people writing to me telling me if I will try and rescue Nairobi but time for decision making has not reached [sic],” he indicated.
The former Gatanga legislator gained popularity during the last elections impressing many with his ideologies and development-based brand of politics but eventually emerged fourth.

This guy will obviously vie for the governor seat hopefully in Muranga and then hopefully to do an Alfred Mutua makeover of the place. I mean his constituency was voted the best managed in Kenya, during his tenure.
I see him as a possible successor to UK(2022) since we obviously know that Kenyan elections are very tribal and the Kikuyus would never support anybody that is not their own for presidency. (Ruto anacheswo and he knows it). Plus for now there is no clear political bigwig that has emerged to take on that from the Central region. He also has the money and is obviously smart enough to get money from most corporates anyway.
Dream team would be him as president and Mutua as a running mate. Mudavadi would be very suitable here too but he would probably never settle for anything that is not PORK or DPORK most probably.
And with Ruto(Rift Valley) and Joho(Cord Strongholds i.e. coast and nyanza) splitting up the rest of Kenya, they would have a very big shot at winning.
