The economy is bad. We have a 40% unemployment. You can literally pay everyone minimum wage and you will still get ermployees. Besides hiyo kugawana loss ni tamu sana. Employees are responsible for up to a 30% in Kenyan companies, no reason why boss should eat Ls because of thieves
Supermarket staff, just like other kenyans, are known thieves. Its even known nationally that working for supermarkets has good “pesa za kando”
The entire stuff collude to steal, right from management, shop floor attendant’s, cashiers, cleaners hadi security.
In Kenya you have to accept that employees will always find away of stealing from you. Sad

I once had a friend who used to buy cheap electronics from a supermarket. He told me his brother would work with accounts guys so that when new stock is coming in, they would buy the electronics as part of the wholesale consignment, yeye ana chukua yake anarudihsa pesa kwa system, so the super never makes a profit or loss, but he also pockets a 500 shiling facilitation fee from his personal buyers.
