But do you understand that Ghana has collapsed entirely as a country? The poverty going on in that country is at an unimaginable scale. His story was supposed to offer hope to his countrymen back home but of course the reality on the ground is different.
I have just come from a men’s conference in my local church this morning and as I was walking to the parking lot, I overheard 3 elders discussing how much better Ghana is as a country compared to Kenya.
I heard them saying that you get the feeling that you are in a stable country as soon as you arrive at the airport in Accra. People greet you with respect, calling you sir etc…
Maybe they were talking about a Ghana of the past, not the present day Ghana…
Anyway, I drove off to get to my next meeting where I was meeting a prospective buyer of a buroti that I was disposing off. This is a buroti that I bought over 10 years ago and has since then appreciated by like 1000%… na bado kuna mtu who can afford.
Kenya kuna shida mingi but there are also some people who are somehow very liquid…
What a coincidence,Church men discussing a far country Ghana just when there was a thread to be responded to.
Goodluck with your “mburoti”
They say Ghana is the Canada of Africa.
