Are we becoming a world full of professional pathological liars. I mean the magnitude at which people lie nowadays is so is so alarming. People even lie about their success.
There’s some nigga at home who used to lie to us that he worked as an IT expert at a bank. So we used to know that the nigga was loaded. Every Friday he used to buy us drinks. So this nigga one day starts borrowing us money to settle some debts then we were like but bro you work in a bank I mean you are loaded almost all the time why you borrowing us money. Unbeknown to us is that he was no IT expert heck he had no idea what IT was nigga was just some cleaner who wanted to impress us so as we see him as being successful. Why would a person lie to impress other people?? Show them that he has made it in life. Absolute foolishness.
There’s another nigga we graduated together with. He got an internship at a cement factory in Athi River paying 15k a month. After 6 months nigga this year in Feb got confirmed and was absorbed to the company and was being paid 70k a month. He was transferred to Mombasa headaquarters. While there he told me how he has been given a company house meaning no rent expenses and given a company car fueled by the company meaning no fare expenses. Kevo, some dude tulikuwa kimoja calls me and is like ‘Jose ananishow alipata job uko Coast anakula 70k lakini nikimshow anipige 3k anaanza hekaya kibao na si ati ni pesa nitakaa nayo, ni pesa nitamrudishia’. Nikamshow pia mimi alinishow ivo. Kevo akaendelea ‘Lakini huyu jamaa nashuku kama analipwa iyo 70k yeye husema. Hakuna vile unaeza toka kulipwa 15k upandishwe ulipwe 70k kwani wewe ni nani’. ‘ati sijui upewe nyumba na kampuni na gari na hata hujakaa kwa kampuni’. What makes me believe that this nigga is a liar is that while we were in campus he used to lie to us that he stayed in Ngong but in reality he used to stay in Kawangware. We used to call him and suggest we give him a visit but he would cook up all sorts of stories not to go there. Even if we had alcohol he would offer to come to town and take it that is during the long holidays. We came to confirm about this after I found him in town talking with some bitch at a laptop shop. The bitch later I came to know that she was his girlfriend nigga even lied to us that he had no girlfriend. When he had gone to withdraw money from an MPESA shop I talked to his girlfriend since he had already introduced us and she told me that he stays in Kawangware with his sister which is not a bad thing anyway. The bad thing is that he lied to us.
