A class 6 pupil in Kitale committed suicide after quarreling with her mother. The girl is said to have hanged herself after the mother questioned her about sexual relationships with a boyfriend.
According to one of the neighbors Francisca Ingosi, the pupil left behind a suicide note explaining why she decided to take her own life.
In the note, the girl said that she was not comfortable sharing a room with her step-father and the frequent quarrels with the mother.

Yea. We have some rotten brothers out there but I get bothered if something happens and a man happens to be in the vicinity then immediately all suspicion falls on him. It’s not right.
