Nope, it’s the sawscaled viper. It kills or maimes more people than all the venomous snakes put together!

Have you heard of the Inland Taipan?
The inland taipan has the most lethal venom but it lives in very sparcely inhabited regions, so human contact is very rare. This devil lives near populated areas and is even mentioned in the bible - Deuteronomy 8:15. If it bites you, mostly on the heel cause its a small snake, the pain is so intense burning that is described as having your leg in a fire but unable to remove it.

The inland taipan is said to live in semi arid areas like parts of Australia, not actual deserts. Hatuambiwi ni nyoka gani, ila huyu shetani anaitwa sawscaled viper, na yule mwingine mwenye pembe (desert horned viper) na nubian cobra labda ndio hao wakimbizi wa Israeli walikutana nao (Deut. 8:15)

They are described as fiery serpents - KJV version, perfect description for this devil which is still very common in the region
