Politics in kenya remains to be a deeply tribal thing. As it stands, Uhuru is still maintains his strongholds, and being the incumbent he has definitely chipped into some of the opposition areas. I wont b surprised if he gains 1% in Luo Nyanza from the Covfefe that the nomination process was over there. Uhuruto only need 1% more from the kissii Nyanza, Maa speakers and from the Luhya. Considering that from the Kissii and from the Luhya he didn’t have that much to start with, its not such a mean task. poised to be re-elected. The challenge is keeping the Lamu voters in the voting booth which is seriously being disrupted. That is assuming that voter turn out is high in all areas.
Depending on which side you are sitting on, Nkaiseri’s death will most def work push people to vote, if you are on Uhuruto side, some wont buy into that heart attack thing and will turn out to protect what they see as a sinister turn of events. If you are on the NASA side, it will be business as usual. Question is, What do the Maa think?

Naswa and Ekuru all wanted the same thing. Though their case was thrown out, they still ended up getting what they wanted.
Jubilee was not in that case, but Naswa was alleging that Al ghurair is in bed with Jubilee. And they know for sure that the Al ghurair they are talking about is very different from the one who met Uhuru.
Naswa is just looking 2 things
- Tactics to postpone the 8/8 date.
- Reasons to reject the results. If IEBC does not suck Naswa’s balls on this printing tender, this will be reason no. 1 why Raila will reject the results.
If I knew any better, my guess is that Naswa was hoping the court throws out their petitions, so that they can have an excuse that the judiciary is pro-jubilee and hence refuse to file a case on 9/8 when they lose.
This way they would have ‘justifiable’ reasons for violence and mass actions, and they would tell the international community that they have no faith in the judiciary.
Ole wao. They are playing right into Jubilee’s game. Already Nasa has proved that the Judiciary is ‘trustworthy’ and ‘independent’ and now they will have to file a case on 9/8 and abide by the ruling.
Clueless Raila is just scoring own goals again.
Jubilee is capitalizing on this and is now publicly saying the judiciary is biased. This is meant to hoodwink the public and international community that the judiciary is finally independent.
And in any case, the IEBC will still have to print extra ballot papers since no one knows the turn out. If Naswa sat down and analyzed the reasons they are putting forward, they will realize they are just being stupid.
