Mr President,
Let me take this opportunity to send you an open letter on an internet forum that allows one of your subjects to address you in person as regards the current state of our country and where it is heading.
As a man who voted for you, Mr President, in both 2012 and 2017, I take great pride in the achievements of the Jubilee govt in all spheres of our national life. Mr President, kenyans are sad and I am, in particular, devastated of what life will be like after your term expires in 2022. You have steered the ship that is kenya well and and we hope to have a president in future that carries on the tradition of exemplary governance. Future generations will know your time as president as Kenya’s Golden Age.
i’am however, Mr President, concerned about your deputy president succeeding you in your office. Your Deputy, William Ruto, Mr President, is going to undo all the good work you have been doing. We, as a nation, will be thrown back to the stone ages if you allow him to come to power Mr President. Land for primary school children will be grabbed as we saw in the weston case… so will land designated for airports which are there to enable future generations to have a chance in life Mr President. Even land for sewers and peasant farmers (as we saw with the man who lost 100 acres but was restored to him. Kudos on this restoration Mr President) will be grabbed.
Mr President, dubious military deals will also be made as we saw with Echesa. People will be killed to cover up such deals as with the head of security at Rutos office Mr President. Shoddy dams will be built as well as theft of 7 billions shillings trivialized as “only 7 billion was lost” Mr President. People like Jacob Juma will die for no apparent reason Mr President.
But the worst tragedy, in my opinion Mr President, are the unnecessary slaughter of 2007. This was, and is, Kenya’s only case of genocide Mr President. A section of kenyans were targeted slaughtered simply because of their tribe Mr President. If someone, without power, can do what was done in 2007 Mr President, what will happen when they do have power??
My President, I implore you to politically “siaga this man into fine unga” Mr President. Keep the course and do not waver Your Excellency. This man had the nerve to try to take your last term as his own by surronding you with his allies You Excellency and ignoring your orders. What you do now will ensure kenya’s future for hundreds of years to come. Please, Your Excellency, ensure that a man like William does not become our next president Your Excellency.
Live Long And Prosper Your Excellency.
