Only in Medical Practice

  1. You will never have time of your own
  2. You will keep on loosing friends and families due to unexplained reasons
  3. You will be busy even time of prayers, no more Sundays, no more Sallah celebrations or Christmas or new year
  4. You will love ur patients more than anyone
  5. Your priority always is to see that ur patients are in comfort
  6. You will buy a very nice car but always parked inside the hospital
  7. You will build a very nice house but always on call and night duties inside hospital
  8. You will buy very expensive clothes but always with labcoats
  9. You will always buy expensive scents and sprays but live under the antiseptics of the hospital
  10. Only you will be slapped by patients relatives for not saving their love ones despite the belief
  11. Spent sleepness nights reading just to ensure somebody is safe not knowing his/her religion, tribe, ethnicity or region but all what we know is his health
    We are different
We are born to serve humanity

I love nmber 6.

Haki when my little girl was born she had all sorts of complications and the Head of Paediatrics (sp) hiyo hosi once spoke to me alafu she was a young Spanish doctor kitu 28 years old and no word of a lie siku moja she came into the ward late at night and she pointed out of the window to a bright red Porsche Two door imeketi parking on its own and she told me … " i haven`t driven it in two months, i live here"…
I think Doctors and especially Consultants deserve every penny they get and then some!..

Chukua like NV.
My daughter was born 2 months pre term and between the crazy hours at the hospital, kutumwa chai by the Mrs coz she didn’t like the one served at hospital, sleeping in the waiting area and driving on auto-pilot, there was a doctor who fed her milk using a syringe. God bless good doctors.
