One man's Terrorist is another mans Freedom Fighter

The West castigated Fidel for not allowing them to convert cuba into their desired bastion of capitalist exploitation and a holiday resort for the imperialists. One fact remains, Fidel was a Freedom Fighter and those who found themselves on his darker side were Agents of the imperialists who deserved a beating.

But Cuba has lagged behind in development and political space.

Cuba has been sending medical expertise, Aid across the world. Cuba had the will and ability to become an economic powerhouse. But when the thieves who manipulate the world economy and petrodollars are against you, economic development is not easy to achieve. Look at Zimbabwe, Venezuela, North Korea…You get sanctioned into the stone age. That’s what they use to discredit those who do not toe their ideological line. FYI, Cuba isn’t that different when compared to the rest of Latin America.

There is no clear definition of the word terrorism .

Great leader, RIP. Only problem was his implementation of communism. Doctors and engineers earn better as taxi drivers in Havana.

True. Tell them to Google Asata Shakur

Crimes committed with a purpose of sending a message or threatening a group of people, institutions or countries. This does not apply in terms of war

Terrorism has more than one hundred definitions, it depends on the one who’s defining it.

I admired the man for how he came to Angola’s aid at her time of need and his fight against apartheid. The imperialist pigs and racist Boers invaded Angola, the Cuban army repulsed those cunts baadaye the racist western media called them mercenaries.

This guy smoked cigars and he lived for 90yrs yet they say tobacco kills

True.

Everyone processes events and landmarks according to their worldview. My perception of Asata is that she is a heroine. So is Micah Johnson

Others may think otherwise, but that’s how I see.

He survived many assassinations only to go on and live for 90 years. Ya Mungu ni makuu.

Don’t be silly. Tobacco kills. Do you know what a normal distribution is? I’ll tell you anyway (pic below). Fidel lies in the the very last section to your right. That represents 2.15% of smokers who defy all odds and make it to old age (genetic advantage required). You can’t use the extremes as a justification. Look at the average hiyo line ya katikati. That’s where majority lies.(assuming x-axis is age at death increasing from L to R and y-axis is number of smokers). I don’t have time to search for actual statistics for you. Google scholar it.
You know I like it when smokers bring up such arguments coz I shut them down immediately! Smoking is a major risk factor for heart disease, cancer etc and it’s common knowledge that those are the leading causes of death. Fidel has been sick for the longest time. Jijazie. Okay class dismissed.
